Requirements

Prostride footing is a arena surface made from recycled rubber pieces. It offers excellent shock absorption and can reduce the risk of injury for horses and riders. Additionally, rubber footing requires minimal maintenance and can last for several years with proper care. It is also eco-friendly, as it repurposes old tires that would otherwise end up in landfills.

Water

While watering the footing of an equestrian arena is not necessary for the larger sand particles, we do recommend using water to control dust. By keeping the dust levels down, you can create a more pleasant and healthier environment for both horses and riders. Additionally, reducing dust can also improve visibility, making it easier to see and navigate around the arena.

Grooming Equipment

Our recommendation for achieving proper compaction and mixing of the sand and product is to use a drag equipped with tines. This tool will effectively mix the materials and ensure a more uniform and stable surface for horse riding.
